The Mystics are the Boise area’s longest-running classic rock group and the only one still with an original member. The band’s extensive repertoire includes hits from the ’60s by the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Byrds, the Everly Brothers, CCR, Buffalo Springfield, Neil Young, the Lovin’ Spoonful and more. Mike and his friend, Bob Burgener, completed two Canadian tours in 1978 and 1979.
Mike joined Dino’s house band from 1980 to 1984 in Boise.
Mike retired in 2012, and still plays and sings. Jazz, blues, contemporary and R and B are his favorite music.
Michael is involved with his Basque culture as a member of the Biotzetick Basque Choir.

Ben Garcia
Born on the Wasatch Front and raised at the foot of the Rockies, Ben Garcia got his musical start with early success in the alternative rock scene. Yet, after years on long Western highways—often with only bird dogs, horses, and a Gibson Guitar as companions—his music picked up grit from mountain passes and country roads. His songs drive through sometimes stark, sometimes sublime landscapes towards a jagged but unbroken skyline, stopping occasionally at Honky Tonk bars to tell stories of rough, worn cowboy hats, boots, and tales love.
