The Gene Harris All-Stars Jazz program is an after-school program designed for high school students who want to be more engaged with jazz performances in the Treasure Valley.

This audition-only program is open to a select group of students who will be required to attend rehearsals every other week during the school year. These rehearsals are coached by local jazz professionals, and students will get to interact with many other jazz professionals from the region and country.

Mike and his friend, Bob Burgener, completed two Canadian tours in 1978 and 1979.

Mike joined Dino’s house band from 1980 to 1984 in Boise.

Mike retired in 2012, and still plays and sings. Jazz, blues, contemporary and R and B are his favorite music.

Michael is involved with his Basque culture as a member of the Biotzetick Basque Choir.

The Shook is a ‘90s/‘2000s rock cover band playing the hits that everyone knows.

Since her start, Lindzey has toured in California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, and Idaho. She has played large events such as Lawrence Livermore Laboratory's 70th anniversary party (Livermore, CA), Music on the Water (Boise, ID), Treefort Music Festival (Boise, ID), Boise Music Festival (Boise, ID) and Terrace Lakes Wine and Art Fest (Garden Valley, ID). The Trials and Tribulations Blues Band was formed in Northern California in the early 1990s. For several years, the band played in many of the top music venues throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2018, the band reformed in Boise, Idaho. Their music is heavily influenced by renowned West Coast artists such as T-Bone Walker, William Clarke, Rod Piazza, Gary Smith, George “Harmonica” Smith, Pee Wee Crayton, Lowell Fulson, Junior Watson, and more.

J.R. & the Stingrays are a Boise-based oldies rock and roll band established in 1985. They perform a Sha-Na-Na style oldies show with a vintage flair reminiscent of the American Graffiti era. The Stingrays cover tunes from Bill Haley & the Comets, The Drifters, Beatles, Elvis and many other great rock and roll artists of the past.

Dozey Dubs is a hella chill band from Garden City Idaho who play a variety of jazzy reggae influenced originals and covers, that make you want to dance, feel, and vibe!

Landonious has been playing music since childhood and has been in various projects in Salt Lake and Boise for almost three decades. His solo music could be described as a fusion of electronic, ambient jazz, rock, and world music, where he combines multiple instruments using looping pedals to create a full-band experience.

Brooke Nicole and the Jake Leg is a local Treasure Valley blues band.

Nick has always been a songwriter at heart, turning life’s moments into music from a young age. Idaho native Cliff Miller has quickly become a premiere act in the northwestern music scene having shared the stage with national artists including Lee Brice, Whitey Morgan, Randy Houser, Casey Donahue, Flatland Cavalry, Shane Smith and The Saints, and Jerrod Nieman.

Sam Henry, a midwestern boy with a bug for country music, has been writing and performing since he could ride a bike. Inspired by a redneck childhood, a rich heritage in church, and a slight knack for rebellion, Sam’s lyrics paint relatable pictures for the saint and sinner alike.

Just like their hometown of Boise, the Soulmates are a little funk, a little rock and roll, and a whole lotta soul.

Scott Knickerbocker writes original songs that move one to re-see the world as wondrous. He also enjoys digging in the rich soil of "old, weird America"--whimsical country blues finger-picked on guitar, haunting ballads frailed on banjo, and spirited old-time dance tunes played on fiddle.

Fresh Cut Grass is a bluegrass ensemble out of Boise, Idaho. The band is a mix of New-Grass and Traditional that incorporates a three-piece harmony along with mandolin, dobro, banjo, guitar, standup bass, and fiddle.

Steve Eaton is an Idaho-based singer-songwriter and a recipient of the prestigious Idaho Governor's Award in the Arts.
