Due to inclement weather and related road closures, Anni Piper and her band have been forced to cancel the January 12th show at the Sapphire Room. The Sapphire Room will add a second show for Too Slim & The Blues Saviors show featuring Gary Tackett for Friday night, January 12th.

Tim “Too Slim“ Langford is a monster guitarist and unabashed blues rocker whose influences run the gamut from Lightnin’ Hopkins, Freddy King, Duane Allman, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Robin Trower. He is a prolific singer/songwriter whose songs have now yielded an impressive 14 studio albums, 2 solo albums and several live CD’s on the Vizztone and his own Underworld Records labels with his band Too Slim and The Tail Draggers.

Influenced by the powerful Electric and Acoustic work of Eric Clapton as well as the heartfelt songwriting of Merle Haggard, Gary Tackett has made a name for himself in the world of Acoustic and Blues. The skilled singer-songwriter and guitarist exemplifies a rare display of mastery in diverse genres.
