The first show of the Billy Blues Band was at Boise Blues Society’s Show benefiting youth scholarships on Fat Tuesday in 2018. Since 2018, the band has experienced phenomenal growth in popularity in Boise and surrounding areas, including opening for Chicago based blues artists Maurice John Vaughn, Freddy Dixon and Shirley Johnson. We are returning to celebrate our 5th year as a band with new songs for listening and dancing. This is a FAT TUESDAY Party show, so dress accordingly--or not--but come for fun. If you enjoy the music of Etta James, Daniel Nicole, Janiva Magness, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Janis Joplin, Eric Gale, Chris Cain, Robyn Ford, and a variety of other contemporary blues and blues rock artists, you will enjoy our music.
